Cortina is in the North part of Italy and the Alpin valley. This well known for winter holidays, ski and beautiful sceneries. This is one of the best tourist destination and it attracts lots of tourists in the winter season. This became a playground for winter Olympic games in 1956. Still we can see the ruins of the hosted place in this city. This small city is one of the wealthiest cities which has a great history. This city is specialized in wooden crafts and furniture, iron and tiled stoves and glass.

From there we can see dolomite mountains. Dolomiti is very fomaous in Italy in both summer and winter season. In the summer, we can see these dolomiti totally in red colour and we can do lots of outdoor activities. Among them hiking is very famous.

In the winter season, we can use cable cars to go to top of the mountains. there are lots of facilities to ski on the top of the dolomite mountains as well as the cafeterias. The view from the top of the mountain was amazing. If you go for ski then you should check the time period which these cable cars going to operate. Because at the end of the winter they close these places.

If you love ski then go to this place in winter. But personally, I like to go there in summer to enjoy the views and the beauty of the mountains. you can find lot of accommodation under reasonable price in this city. It will be a nice vacation for you.
