Souvenirs in Copenhagen

The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about the souvenirs shops in Copenhagen and where to buy some good souvenirs in reasonable prices, because everything there is really expensive, especially the souvenirs, so that it’s always helpful for tourists to know, where they can buy some good souvenirs in cheaper prices, because every souvenir there is really lovely and beautiful and when you see them, you just want to buy all of them for yourself, I guess.

Well, I didn’t really know, where to go for the souvenirs, however, when I went to this Radhusetpladsen place in Copenhagen, there they had lots of shops full of different souvenirs, however, the prices were pretty high, I mean, one small fridge magnet cost 5 euros and the prices went up, so that it was really difficult to buy something cheap for people. You know, people usually want to buy some souvenirs for their family members or friends or relatives from other countries, the sellers know that, of course, and that’s why the prices of the souvenirs are really high. Despite that fact, people still buy them, because they don’t really have other choice, if you ask me, and, besides, the souvenirs are really interesting and difficult to get by them.

So that, that’s why there are so many souvenir shops all around the city, but most of them are located in the center, or in such places, where the tourists usually go and those places are the entrance of the museums or those streets, where there are lots of brand shops and tourists walk into those streets, etc.

Souvenirs on Stroget

If you want to buy some good souvenirs while walking on Stroget, you should go to that one end of Stroget walking towards the Lego store and Sostrene Grene, where there’s this square, where the fountain Storkespringvandet is located, and just until you get to that square, there’s a souvenir shop on your right side, which is pretty well-seen, because they have the souvenirs outside the shop, too and it’s easily noticeable.

The very first time I saw souvenirs in Copenhagen while being there was in this shop and it was there, that I found this old-style clock, which people usually use as an alarm clock, because it has really loud sound. The clock was just normal in size and it cost 11 Euros and even if I wanted to buy it so badly, I didn’t buy it the first time, however, I must tell you, that I still bought it just the day before my departure from Copenhagen. There were also those kind of clocks and they were just very small in size and they cost 5 Euros each, so that it was better to buy the bigger clock and pay 11 Euros for that.

There are all those different kinds of souvenirs, such as vodka glasses, beer mugs, salt and pepper things, handkerchief, hats, T-shirts, fridge magnets, etc. and it’s very difficult to choose from them.

Danish souvenirs

One of the cheapest souvenir shops in Copenhagen is this one called Danish Souvenirs, which is located just until you get to the Radhusetpladsen. It’s in the corner of the street until you see that Burger King sign in front of you. It’s a small shop, however, they have many things inside and the prices compared to the other souvenir shops around are cheaper on some things and that’s why I bought many souvenirs there.

You can also find a golf ball souvenir there with that Denmark flag on it, which costs about 8 Euros and is very nice and I know that there are some people who collect such things.
