When getting close to Nyhavn, you can vividly see that other building just on the right side from the Nyhavn canal and wonder, what it is and what it is for. The building has its characteristic view, which gives it a fascinating look and when people don’t know what this building is about, they get really surprised and interested in seeing the building from inside.

So, Kunsthal Charlottenborg means “Charlottenborg Exhibition Hall” in English and it’s been the official gallery of the Royal Danish Academy of Art for years now. It was a palace, that was constructed in 1672-83 years for Ulrik Frederik Gyldenløve and this was a Baroque architecture, of course, because those were the dates, when they loved building things in Baroque architecture.
