The introduction

Hello everyone , I hope, that you are all doing just fine.

In this article I want to tell you about some small, but beautiful places in Copenhagen, which you might walk by every day and not notice them at all.

Dronning Louises Bro

Well, this place is called Dronning Louises Bro and while in Copenhagen, you will definitely have  to walk towards that place. it's a bridge on the Lakes in Copenhagen, Denmark. This bridge separates some lakes from each other. There are Sortedam Lake and Peblinge lake around the bridge and there's the Norrebro metro station around, so that, when you want to go to the city center, it's a good decidision to take the metro till Norrebro metro station and just cross the Dronning Louises Bro and get to the city center.

There  are all the ways on Dronning Louises Bro _   there's a sidewalk on each sides of the bridge  and pedestrians can walk there and there are also the benches, where you can just sit and enjoy the view of the lakes. There are some of the benches painted in different colours, too, and they make the bridge more lovely and interesting, I think. There are also lanes for bicycles and the road for the cars.

The bridge was built in the late 19th century and it carries a name after Queen Louise, who was King Christian IX's wife. Well, the designer of the bridge was Vilhelm Dahlerup and it was built in 1885-1887 years.

Of course, the bridge was not the same as it looks now. There were several changes made throughout the centuries and there had been some wooden and different types of bridges until that.

The bridge is made of granite and it has three arches and there are iron lines along the bridge. You will see Copenhhagen's coat of arms with weapons and helmets and lionsin the beginning of the bridge.

Sankt Jorgens So

this place in Copenhagen, which I find pretty fascinating This is a place nearby the Tycho Brache Planetarium, which is a pretty famous place in Copenhagen, too. And just until you get to the Tycho Brache Planetarium if you are going there from Frederiksberg, you will see this beautiful lake, which is one of the lakes in Frederiksberg and they call it Sankt Jorgens So, which means Saint George's Lake in English.

Well, the lake is located in Frederiksberg and it's on your way to the city center. It is mainly for the recreational use and there are people running around the lake and there are paths for running and jogging there. The total distance around the lakes is 6.4 kilometres, so that it's a pretty good place to run and jog and enjoy your running, at the same time.

The Sankt Jorgens So is a pretty deep lake, if you ask me, because it has depth of 5 metres.

Kongens Nytorv square

You should visit the Kongens Nytorv place, where there are these mirrors located. Some of them give you some funny shapes and the others are just there for some reason. When you look at them from the far you will see, that there’s something written and that is “You look great”.It was really something surprising when  I saw that  sign there written with the mirrors and it was really pleasing, I must say.
