The introduction

Hello everyone , I hope, that you are all doing just fine.

In this article I want to tell you about this surprising story of one evening for me in Copenhagen.

Do you know anything about Dianetics? Well, I didn’t know anything about it until just recently. It was this summer when I was visiting Copenhagen and I saw this Dianetics place there, which I didn’t really intend to visit, if you want to know the truth.

Well, it all happened pretty fast and I was there in this Dianetics place before I even realized where I was going.

About Dianetics

Dianetics comes from  Greek dia, meaning "through", and nous, meaning "mind” and it is a “set of ideas and practices regarding the metaphysical relationship between the mind and body created by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard” _ this you can read on Wikipedia, which is a world wide information web page.

How it all happened

Well, it was kind of late the evening, I guess, and I had been roaming the streets, mainly near the Radhusetplads, where many souvenir shops are located and I was visiting each of them and deciding, which ones to buy for myself and family members and friends, etc. it was just when I walked out of the Radhusetplads street, that this woman caught me and started speaking about some personality tests and how we could find out what our strengths and weaknesses were and how we could fix them and things like that. She was talking so interestingly, that I got interested pretty much and I really wanted to see, what my strengths and weaknesses were and the process of getting to know that would be pretty interesting , too. So that, I just  stopped beside this woman and listened to her. She then explained to me that the tests existed and I would take them and see the results and then the results would be interpreted and we would know everything.

So, I thought, that this process would not take too long and I would know my results pretty soon, so that I decided to take the test and I told her about my decision of taking the test and she seemed very happy, I must say. I didn’t know, what made her that happy until some time later, when I went to this Dianetics place, where there were all those tests, that I had to answer to know my results. Well, when I told her, that I would take the test, she kind of grabbed me in a polite way and she took me somewhere on the left down the street and we walked a little bit and she continued talking about how good it was, that I decided to take the test and get to know about my character.

We walked about 5 minutes or so and we went to this large and well-lit building, where we went in and there was a desk, where this other young lady was and it was kind of an information desk, where she told her about me and my first  name and last name and where I was from and when she knew about my home country, which is Georgia, it was pretty surprising for me, that she knew about it. She looked really familiar with the country and she even told me, that she intended, that there was their Dianetics book translated in Georgian language, too, however I didn’t really believe that and I thought, that she was just telling me that to get me more interested in their Dianetics.

Anyways, we entered a room, where there were many desks and computers and there were some rooms, which were the window-rooms, and there was one lady sitting at a desk just near the door on the left, who was taking the tests, too, so that I wouldn’t be alone, however, I already didn’t want to take the test, because I really wanted to go home soon, but it seemed like I would be there for a long time. Of course, I could just tell them , that I had to be somewhere else or that I didn’t want to take the test and they would let me go , however, I thought, that since I was already there, I might even take the test and get to know the results and if anything’s wrong with me, that can be fixed.

Well , there was this other woman sitting there from the left of me and it was like a window thing all over the place, because there were window walls and doors around and it was this table on the left, where you could sit and take your test and then there was this other room, where the test makers were sitting and their director and people like that, you know.

I kind of thought, that it would take much time to take that test, however, since I was there I couldn' t just say no and leave the building without anything like a panicking girl or something, so that I sat there and waited for this woman to get me the tests.

When I got the tests , they were plenty and the questions were kind of one paragraph and things like that, so that I thought, that I might skip some of the questions and just move forward and write something in random in those questions and I did do that in some questions, if you want to know the truth. The questions themselves were not something, that you wouldn't have answers to, however, there were some of them, which I couldn't really answer exactly, so that I would write "maybe" or "I don't know" and that was okay , too, beccause there were answers to the tests and you could choose from them and there were those " I don't know" answers, too.

I think , that it was half an hour while i was doing the tests. I tried really hard to do them in less time, however, it was not that easy to have everything answered in a couple of minutes, and, besides, I kind of wanted to know the real results of my tests.

When I finally finished my tests I was pretty satisfied with my answers and me and this woman who was there taking the tests until i got there, we finished together almost, I guess. And that was when we gave our answers sheets to this woman , who brought me there and she told us, that there would be the results just in a couple of minutes, so that we wouldn't have to wait much long. I guess, it was the computer programme, which prepared the results, because otherwise they would need plenty of time to do that, and, besides , there was a graphic made out of our answers, too, so that they could understand our results.

I heard those women talking about who would receive who, I mean, there were two of us and they were about who would tell the results which one of us. and then, I heard, that this woman told the director, that my results were more interesting and that director told me to get into her room to her desk. She looked pretty firm, however, when she introduced herself to me, she seemed quite nice and she told me, that she was going to tell me the results of my tests. However, first, she asked me some questions about myself, like the general stuff, you know. To be honest, I was kind of intrigued by the fact, that my results were more interesting than the other woman's and that the director herself wanted to tell me my results, so that, it could be pretty bad, I thought. Well, I had some flaws and rises, however, it was not that bad, I guess, but they told me, that I could be better with the help of dianetics, and that the program cost expensive, however, I could have some discountsand I could buy their book, etc. To be honest, I wasn’t' going to buy their book, because it was pretty expensive, and, besides, i don't know, what it would do, so that I told them, that it was not in my hands to buy the book right then and that I had to leave Denmark the day after that and I would search it in Georgia and I would buy the book there.
