Abaco, Bahamas

Treasure Cay is my favorite island in the Bahamas. It is so beautiful and is not full of tourists. It was also voted one of the best beaches in the world! The Bahamas are spectacular; the water is crystal clear and the sand so perfect!

There are so many different islands to go to! It is best to have a boat and take it around because all the islands are so close it can take 20-30 min to get to an island on the boat! There are a lot of great bars and restaurants on the other islands as well so sometimes it is fun to island hop and see the different islands. Every time I go we rent a boat so we can fish and go to the different islands. I recommend going fishing because there are so many great places to fish and the fish is amazing from the Bahamas! If you are staying at a hotel that has a kitchen then you can make the fresh fish (which we did) and it was amazing and can sometimes be cheaper depending on how many people you have with you.

We stayed at the Bahama Beach Club, which was amazing! The place is right on the beach and there are a ton of pools and hot tubs all around the resort. They also have many restaurants located here, which are very good. One of my favorite foods from here are the conch fritters, it comes from the conch shell. There is also a bar on the island, which is really fun! It is right in the marina and there is a general grocery store and another restaurant located there as well. On certain days they have pizza at the bar and it is the best pizza ever!

Nippers is a very fun bar located on the island of Great Guana Cay. This is such a fun place to go to because it is very lively! There are always a lot of people and sometimes they have live musicians performing. It has alcohol and food; the nipper is what you come for. It is an alcoholic drink and very dangerous because you cant taste the alcohol at all! They also have a pool and the bar is located right on the beach!

Cracker P’s is locate don Lubbers Quarters Cay and is a good spot to have lunch and relax! This restaurant has very good food!

Spanish cay is another great island to explore.

Stranded naked is a party on an island in the Bahamas and it is really fun! Everyone pulls up their boat and then swim into the shore. It isn’t too deep just a couple feet. It is so fun and so many people! They have food music drinks!

There is so much to explore as well and the water is so clear you can swim and never be scared! The water is also the perfect temperaure warm and there can be sand shores in the middle of the ocean that are only a couple of feet tall so you can walk around. you can find so many sea shells and fun things to take home. I love the bahamas I would live there if I could!
