Hello Andrea! I just applied today for student housing using the studentenwerk! I hope I hear a reply from them soon. It would be great to know where I'll be living!! Are you thinking of student halls or an apartment? I really just want to be living in the city :) 

Hi Marcin! I'm going to Cologne from March to July/August, wish I was going the whole year now lol. Have you applied for accommodation?

hey im also coming to Köln in march to july...I think we cannot apply yet. Or yes we can apply for student housing, but... the deadline in July is probably for the fall students...

I have heard some of my friends have to take private flat as they cannot get any offers from the student housing organization,

Hi, all! 

I am also going to study in Cologne from september till march 2014 :) 

Clare McQuaid I read that you have applied for accommodation using the studentenwerk, could you please tell me how did you do this? Because I have received an e-mail from the university that i have to fill an online formular but I can't access it using my user name and password. Is there any other way to apply for acommodation?

is this forum only for future students ?

I'm trying to get more informations about the student life in Köln, how is the city, if the university has a good level ?... I am still hesitating between an erasmus programm in Germany or in Switzerland. So if you can give more details about your personnal experience, if could be very helpful.
