What is it like to live in Cologne? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Cologne is a nice city. The transport is excellent and there are a lot of young people to meet and have fun. How ever, it's really hard to find good accommodation since it is highly demanded and have a low offer. The people are kind and open to foreign people.
What is the student lifestyle like in Cologne?
It's really fun. There are a lot of students, so you will be in the same mood as the majority of people. For that reason, are things to do a lot of things: cultural, party, hiking, and obviously, academic clubs. The hardest part is the accommodation, but just at the beginning.
How much does it cost to live in Cologne?
As a student around 700 euros per month.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Cologne? Is there any advice you can give?
It's really hard. Take the first option you can have and with the time find better accommodation, even if it's outside surround the city.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
It's normal. Some good places to go, but not an extraordinary thing.
What places would you recommend visiting in Cologne?
Dom for sure and the Alstädt, there are more places to go according to your wishes.
Is the nightlife good in Cologne? Where is good to go?
Everyday there are partys to go or hang out in kiosks.
