Experience in Ciudad Real, Spain by Sifri
What do you think about living in Ciudad Real? Do you recommend it? How is it?
It seems to me a good city to live in because it isn't very big nor stifling nor stressful, yet you still have everything you need there. It's also not so small that it's boring.
How is the student atmosphere in Ciudad Real?
There is a great student atmosphere on Thursdays when there are parties.
What is the cost of living like in Ciudad Real?
It depends on the country you come from, but I think it isn't really expensive to live in.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in Ciudad Real? Can you give any advice?
It isn't difficult, you can find rooms easily.
How about the national food? What are your favourite dishes?
The best is the gastronomy: the typical Manchegan food like gachas, migas, Manchegan gazpacho, cheese, ham, wine, etc.
What places do you recommend for a night out in Ciudad Real?
You've got the area of 'El Torreón' to go out in, which is a zone full of pubs. On Thursdays there are a lot of university parties.
