What is it like to live in Ciudad Real? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Although Ciudad Real is a ghost city in july and august, during the course year, Ciudad Real is full of students from everywhere. Life quality is perfect and you do not need transport because you can go on foot everywhere with a maximum of 25 min. And C. Real has also lots of spaces to do exercice.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ciudad Real?

A lot of party. Peaceful university. Search "cervezadas Ciudad Real".

How much does it cost to live in Ciudad Real?

Not too much, you can eat quite healthy without selling organs.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Ciudad Real? Is there any advice you can give?

I think it is easier to find place in residences, but in Calle Toledo, Calle Calatrava and in the Avenida de los Descubrimientos there are a lot of appartements to rent.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is awesome. Keep in mind pisto, migas and gachas. If you go to C. Real, go the bar "El Portalón".

What places would you recommend visiting in Ciudad Real?

La Atalaya, Tablas de Daimiel (by car), Lagunas de Ruidera (by car), the bowl on the gym Nudos, Parque de Ocio las Vias (Films in original version every tuesday), carnival in Miguelturra (february/march).

We have Burger King, McDonald's, TheGoodBurger, Domino's Pizza, Telepizza, Pomodoro (one of my favourites), Sakura (asian food).

Is the nightlife good in Ciudad Real? Where is good to go?

Torreón (street), discos: La Antigua, Ikebana (Erasmus discount with ESN), Lima, el Traste and la Bastilla.

What advice would you give future students heading to Ciudad Real?

Try to enjoy it the most.
