Hi friends, hope you all are doing fine. Today I want to share with you all an interesting and fun filled placed found in the city of Chennai in India. Personally this is my favorite amusement park in India. Located very near to my home this park can gaurantee you the extreme fun that you can ever have. Join me as I'm going to give you a combination of both my experience in the park and at the same time all the information that you need to know about Queens Land..!
There are certain places that can decrease your age and make you behave like a kid and amusement parks is such a thing.! When it comes to amusement parks almost every human in the world gets crazy. I was in India for my summer vacation the last year when I planned to go with my friends to Queens Land. As soon as I said that everyone agreed because no one wants to miss the fun and enjoyment one can have in an amusement park. As we all are from different places in the city we decided to gather together at one place and then go to the park together. When it comes to get together we don't know any other place than CMBT which means the Central Moffusil Bus Terminus. The plan was after two days on a sunday such that everyone was free and undisturbed from their studies.
We all decided to gather together in CMBT at 9am in the morning. We planned it too early because we may need extra time inorder to have complete fun and enjoyment. Although I have many buses available right near my home. Still I went to CMBT because I wanted to spend some time with friends and have fun with them. It wouldn't take a minute to say them to start and I'll join later. But If I say so I will miss all the fun and enjoyment that occurs during their journey. I didn't want to miss even a small part of fun that I can have with my friends.
All the buses that have the name Kancheepuram written on it will reach queensland. The bus ticket may vary depending on the type of bus you travel. It was actually a bit long journey that took about 40mins. The theme park is located in the main road therefore there is no need to walk after getting down from the bus. The bus we boarded dropped us right in front of the queens land gate. From there we had to walk a little distance to reach the ticket counter. There are different types of tickets available and each type is denoted by a different colour.
After buying tickets we entered into the theme park where the fun is about to begin, There are a number of rides available in this theme park and each has its own specialty. Once you enter the theme park the one that directly falls in your eyes is a 150feet long pillar in which a group of 24 persons will go up slowly and fall as if the entire structure has collapsed. This ride has been correctly named as the free fall which is one of the largest towers in south asia. The next adventurous ride to be enjoyed in queens land is the one with the name called Alpen Blitz. It is said that the ride was completely designed in Germany and safety is fully guaranteed, The ride looks like a long train which rolls at an angle of 45 degree. This ride is present only in queens land in India and no where else. The enterprise is a large Ferris wheel in queens land. A ride in this can give you an amazing view of the entire theme park. After having fun in all the above ride we were now about to enter the most favorite ride of mine "The roller coaster". It cannot be said that it is the largest or the scariest but this ride can give you some real adventure and fun, Then we had to walk a little distance and climb a number of stairs inorder to reach the cable car station that is located on the top of a lake. There are about 80 cable cars moving back and froth in queens land. The cable car takes you in a trip around queens land and runs for an entire distance of 1.5kms. It will take upto half an hour for the ride to get over. The initial part of the ride where your car moves above the lake is really awesome. Then we had to walk back again and move in a path along the bank of the big lake where we found a ramp. Walking up this ramp and climbing a few steps took us to the Himalayan Water ride which is a kind of water ride that can partially give you a effect of rafting, The violent water and the rugged track will make your vessel to move vigorously. Right opposite to this you will find the lake and over the lake there is a wooden platform. This is the area where you can get into one of the boats and go for a boat ride. The lake is man made and this man made lake along with an island set up in the centre creates additional beauty to the eyes. Queens land is known for its varities of swimming pool. There are two different pools one is the general swimming pool and the other one is American Wave pool which creates artificial waves in a frequent interval. The next interesting ride in Queens land is called as the Centrox which takes the visitors to a 83degree angle while rotating constantly at a height of 30 feet. There are only three such rides in the world and one is found in Queens Land. Then you can have some thrilling aadventure at the pirate ship which is an oscillating ship that can test your courage. The adult bumping car is a lovely electric car cage where you can have some real fun bumping and fighting with your friends car. Crazy horse is a kind of ride that coincides with the old culture of Tamil Nadu that deals with bull fighting. Here you will have to sit without falling till the end of the song on a horse back.
When it comes to kids there are some additional fun stuffs like "orchestra" which is the merry go round, oval station the official stop of the queens land express, kids taxi, mini jet, ventura river, thumbrole, mini avia, octopus, frog slide in the swimming pool and mini Ferris wheel for the kids.
It will definietly take a whole day for enjoying all these rides and avoid going during public holidays or weekends as the place will be crowdy and you will have to wait in a long que then. When me and my friends go we generally complete all the ride, there is a vide gaming centre inside queens land where we have some good fun. There are also some trap houses and maze houses called fun house and glass house. There are cafeterias and hotels inside queens land therefore you can have your food well inside queens land but the thing is the cost is bit higher on the inside than the outside, It was almost night 7pm when me and my friends completed all the rides available in Queens Land. Returning back home turned out to be a big problem as the buses were full and no one stopped at the bus stop. At last we managed to find ourselves an autorickshaw for taking us back home.! So be early on a non holiday to have some extra fun without any crowd or disturbance.
