What is it like to live in Chennai? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Life in chennai is quite traditional .One can find few late night parties . When it comes to safety it stands when compared to other cities in India.I would definitely recommend it .It is a beautiful city with a lot of ancient temples.But, the weather is not bareable.
What is the student lifestyle like in Chennai?
It is slowly becoming a student's destination as everything is changing quite fast.There are lots of colleges and education is really good especially higher education .
How much does it cost to live in Chennai?
The accomadation is not really expensive compared to other metro cities in india .But , quality food is bit expensive .For a student if sharing a room with other expenses monthly it will come around 10,000 -12000 rupees.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Chennai? Is there any advice you can give?
It is little bit difficult to find accomadation.There are few students accomadation.If taking a private appartment, the owners will not prefer students
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Food is great.In chennai you can get all kinds of food.There are lot of restaurants like chinese,continental,american,french,South indian,North Indian,brazalian,mexican etc.My favourite is chinese sczhwen noodles
What places would you recommend visiting in Chennai?
I prefer Marina beach which is the 2 nd longest beach in asia.Mayajaal,satyam theatre,Express avenue mall ,East coast road,elliots beach etc
Is it good to eat out in Chennai? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
You have to be very careful in choosing the restaurants .There are few restaurants which dont provide quality food.I prefer saravana bhavan(vegetarian),KFC,MC DONALDS
Is the nightlife good in Chennai? Where is good to go?
When it comes to night life not much to say .But, i prefer The park hotel and elliots beach
What advice would you give future students heading to Chennai?
It is the best and safest place for students .You get mostly everything here when it comes to food
