IT actually differs from 20,000 INR to even 60,000 INR and even more. Based on the prices locality and the type of ambiance The rates do differ.

Accomodation in cheenai is really easy.you hav a lot of places to switch around but please do visit the renting places in person and have a look at them and dont select based on the photograph provided .

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The best food in the entire universe. Since this is a diverse place The entire world of food is right around the corner. Chennai food is very spicy so be aware of that but you will get whatever food you want . My favourite is the Hyderabad biriyani and Dosa :)

What places would you recommend visiting in Chennai?

MAgabalipuram, Old Mahabalipuram road, East coad for long drives, Avadi Tank factory

Actually it suits the natives as we have a good power of digesting it . Shops on the roads called kayyendhi bhavan the the tastiest of places but new people will have uneasiness to digest it . But the delicious food on earth lies there and very cheap . Foreigners must prefer the restaurants

Is the nightlife good in Chennai? Where is good to go?

Night life ends at 1:00 in chennai . Coz there is a rule to stop partying by 1:00 at night ... So night life is a little limited in case of partying at the pubs

What advice would you give future students heading to Chennai?

A cool place... Hot in climate, Great people, Friendly people , Sarcastic locals . On the whole ... You will enjoy it :) And know what indian culture is :)
