What is it like to live in Cedar City? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Cedar City has allowed me to meet people from different backgrounds. The reason for this is because I attend a University that brings so much diversity into this small town. Cedar city is a small town, but it has so many unique places to visit. Due to its size, it allows people to have better interactions and to build closer relationships. Cedar City has the best nature around it. National parks are just around the corner. I would recommend young individuals who love to explore the outdoors to come to Cedar City because they will fall in love with the city.

What is the student lifestyle like in Cedar City?

Cedar City is a small city and it allows students to build close relationships with other students, especially because there are a lot of students from out of state. Cedar city doesn’t provide much of a night life since it’s a pretty small city but there are multiple things to do on a daily basis.

How much does it cost to live in Cedar City?

Cedar City is one of the cheapest cities for students in the whole state of Utah.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Cedar City? Is there any advice you can give?

Finding accommodation is quite easy for students because there’s plenty of space. Most places don’t get full and sometimes accommodation can be found right before school starts and also accommodation is available all year round.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Cedar city has the typical fast food restaurants, but because it’s also a small town it offers a lot of local restaurants. There is a variety of food available here. Some of my favorite dishes are from some of the local places such as the pizza from Centro, which is wonderful restaurant located in the heart of Cedar City.

What places would you recommend visiting in Cedar City?

Some of the best places to visit in Cedar City is Mike’s Tavern, which is a bar, as well as the bowling alley and one of the best places is the Cedar Canyon as well as the tunnels. Outside of Cedar City, some of the places to visit is Zion’s National Park, Kinnara Falls. These are just outside of cedar.

Is it good to eat out in Cedar City? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Cedar city has multiple local restaurants. Some of my favorite spots are Centro, Pizza Cart, The Grind, All American Dinner, Sweet Basil
