Hi Astrid!

I will come to Cardiff in the beginning of September I believe and will be studying in Cardiff Met / UWIC in the school of management. When are you arriving to Cardiff? :)

Okay cool, I understood that there's an orientation in UWIC in the middle of September or so but I will probably come a bit before at least. But if I don't have an apartment all ready before arriving there then I will also come around end of August, so I have time to get settled and find a place to live. :) So yeah, to answer your question, I don't know where I will be living, I have sent an application for dorm room at my campus though, but doubt I will get it. :) How about you, do you know where to live yet? xoxo

Hey Julia! I will arrive to Cardiff the 31st of August because I have to be there the first week of September. Also, I will be living in a students residence called "Cambrian Point" which is in the north of Cathays. I went there when I visited Cardiff and the stuff seemed friendly and the place was nice.... :) xx

Hola Astrid! Sounds great that you got to visit Cardiff beforehand and so on, wish I had time to do that also. Don't really know where the place is where you will be living, but suppose will learn that when I have arrived there. :) I will hopefully get also a student residence from the Llandaff campus of Cardiff Metropolitan University, but still haven't got any confirmation... If I don't get it then I will probably live in a hostel or so for the first couple of nights and then look for a room from private market in person. :) By the way, why are we the only persons writing here? :D There seems to be a lot of action in the Spanish channel, but I guess no one wants to participate in the English one....

I'm a girl from France and I'll also be doing my Erasmus in Cardiff! I'm also excited, as it's the very first time I will leave my country and study in an other language...

Do you feel ready for your new life in Cardiff? Personally, I just can't wait!! :)
