From Nice to the wonderful cannes

During my internship i had the amazing idea to go for a trip to France with my friends, we visited a wonderful unforgettable and amazing city Nice, then friends planned to discover other cities around and decided to visit another famous city very near by distance and very famous by its cinema festival all over the world...yes, you guessed right , it is the amazing city Cannes in the south of France.

We took the train TER from Nice to cannes for 7 euros only and with a duration of approximatively 40 min so it was the most adequate way for us to arrive in speed way in order to enjoy this magical city. In any case, my short stay in the city gave me another vision of the city and gave me the desire to return again with pleasure if i arrive again near the region. Cannes evokes for me the picture of a very touristic city full of many attractions and great beautiful beaches to swim while admiring the palm trees. Cannes is really a world for famous poeple and very known for its cinema festival, the Croisette and its luxury hotels. many poeple can be a bit wondering if a visit to  Cannes can be expensive and exploding their budget because of its reputation as a seaside luxury city at exorbitant cost but these claims will surely loose their credibility when seeing that the city of Cannes can also be suitable for normal poeple to spend a weekend without spending so much money in luxurious things. Because Cannes is not only the fashionable part of the city, Visiting Cannes allows poeple to explore the authenticity of an old center that has preserved its own style, its amazing markets, a splendid turquoise bay and much more to know and to see in this amazing city.

Our first destination was the Forvill Market to discover the richness of the various fresh products of the city,  the mutiple characteritics of the city as by walking we could reach it after fifty minutes  from our hostel, the Forville market has a reputation of a quality market that everyone visit for the quality of its shops , vegetables , fruits  and it offers also a wide variety of products. it made me remember very much the Boqueria marquet that was so unique by its original aspects, i could even find the bacalau in Spain, as the bacalau was firstly a portuguese tradition, i had the chance to visit previousely  a same maket in Barcelona and i loved it.

1- The market

When we entered the market we discovered it was covered and we would distinguish that it was one of the most popular places in the city and the neighberhood, where fishermen and market gardeners meet every morning. It is the social lung of the city. Smell the perfumes of fruits and vegetables,and the most famous specialties of small local producers to the real freshness of the fruit juices. We could therefore taste also a specialty called Socca and i can assure it had a really original and amazing flaviour for only 2.5 euros so it was really worthy as not so much expensive.

2- Aspect of cannes from inside

The city is composed of  three different casinos where poeple can relax, a beautiful beach where to swim in a calm way and its many festivals to discover in nights, The most predominent characteristic of this city Cannes is a city that never sleeps, so poeple can enjoy to walk in its streets by night especially and discover its magical aspects by night. We were actually very suprised to see that the city center was actually very crowded, with its many palaces, marinas and festival hall. poeple should not miss also to climb up the hill to the tower to enjoy the panoramic view of the sea and the city. The main avenue on the beach along of the bay of Cannes is the most famous one,. It is known thanks to the Cannes Film Festival and the Palace of Festivals. Most of the big hotels are located on this main avenue as well as the luxury shops, There is another district that is an upscale neighborhood with many luxurious villas and buildings that have become historical: The district is located on a hill, in a green area that allowed us to enjoy a panoramic view of the bay of Cannes while drinking the juices of bought previously from the market, these islands which are one of the few island districts of France. We could see many cathedrals in the city especially one that is may be smaller, well known for its monastery. Just next to Cannes, poeple can not miss to visit another city very admirable and beautiful by its characteristic architecture and amazing atmosphere called Canne and ranked flowered and touristic town, the center of the old Cannet is one of the most beautiful ever known for its flowery streets. Cannes is a city allowing walking, cycling, swimming and allows also a modern way of entertainement which is a new generation of urban electric transport. poeple can discover the originality of a safe and fun ride, which they will not be ready to forget, because this mean is already old school we could embark on it and we had the choice of several routes from thirty to three hours, we could also discover an amazing panorama from the heights points of the main avenue to the the streets of the city through the old port, the narrow streets of the historic district, the old market, the golden square, the path of the stars, the Palace of Festivals, the painted walls dedicated to cinema icons, the luxury boutiques, the mythical big hotels, casinos, sandy beaches and much more amazing attractions the city offered to us in this incredible journey.

4- The movie train

During our journey we could visit also one of the most splendid attraction in the city that is The movie train of cannes, such a genius idea for cinema lovers to  offer two guided tours while keeping the theme of cinema for poeple loving it and loving to discover more about the reality of the establishement of such a mythical festival in this city. The History Tour takes poeple took us to visit  the main avenue of the city firstly and told us the story of Cannes and how the stars of the cinema worldwide have integrated the city and loved it. we could also have a stop at the viewpoint dominating the whole city allowing us mainly to watch the beautiful architecture of the facades of the most famous palaces, the recently renovated ones also built alongside with other very famous hotels we could admire during this tour, we could remark it had the same aspects of hotels just in front of the sea side like in the Promenade of english in Nice that represents the category of poeple that are rich and living well. We could also go into these palaces of the main avenue to see a little inside or have a drink in the cafe of the hotel, expensive but much less than to sleep there. This can increase the probability of poeple to feel to see a real cinema star or to feel like a famous star. By walking especially at night, we discovered another atmosphere of the city very festive and all poeple going to discotheques, the main street crowded by poeple a lot, i think this is one of the way to see some celebrities and that came from united states such as Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie during the Cannes Film Festival, along the private beaches or out of their luxury hotel. It is more advised to walk there but also to take the small tourist train to have comments on film shoots that poeple can see in general on the way much interesting stories of the cinema.

We could also discover a part of the culture of the city by visiting mainly an art center very characteristic and offering many masterpiece to understand the historical heritage of such an amazing city and how it was built over the years, we could discover a rich collection and many original sculptures  which will delight lovers of  art and offer an artistic and relaxing break in the middle of a comfortable town offering so much surprises to its visitors. Located on the heights, in an old castle we could also discover, we could discover paintings, the landscapes representing also the Côte d'Azur that is now one of the most amazing landscapes in european countries. The museum also displays a large collection of musical instruments from around the world. At the end our visit, we could climb the steps of the square tower, for a breathtaking view of the bay of Cannes so amazing and wonderful.
