There are two main Universities in Bydgoszcz: UTP and UKW, one of them is located far from the city centre so it is sometimes hard to get to it, or even want to go there, especially in winter.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bydgoszcz? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult to find acoomodation because there are a lot of students in Bydgoszcz from other cities. There are a lot of students flats or rooms for rent so it is not a problem. It is better to rent a flat in a block of flat than in a tenement house because of the central heating.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can eat typical polish food in every district because of so called milk-bars. In those places you can eat good food for small price.

Is the nightlife good in Bydgoszcz? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is quite good. There are loads of parties for students. Normal parties start about 10 p. m. There are also shot bars where you can go before the party to drink cheaper than in the club.
