What is it like to live in Bydgoszcz? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Well... Bydgoszcz is a nice really nice city! Small enough but i think you can do a lot of nice things. Looks nice... old town doesn't look like old. I think it's kind of a modern city with a lot of students!

What is the student lifestyle like in Bydgoszcz?

It is good life i think. We don't get a huge grant like for example in Ireland but it's good enough... You can even find a good job if you really wish.

How much does it cost to live in Bydgoszcz?

woww I don't know! it depends who you are, but... 200 € monthly is good.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I love pasta! It is nice to go to the restaurant Sowa... there is always good and cheap enough food! Also.. kebab and fast food, if you prefer it.

What places would you recommend visiting in Bydgoszcz?

Wyspa Młyńska (a historic area in the Old Town), the Basilica, Myślęcinek park, Ogród botanic garden, Stare Miasto (the Old Town).

Is the nightlife good in Bydgoszcz? Where is good to go?

For sure it is! For students the best is: Metro, Kubryk, Jack, Kredens. And for another people: Soda, Savoy, Moralist, Eljezz...

What advice would you give future students heading to Bydgoszcz?

In the winter... bring really warm clothes!
