What is it like to live in Budapest? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

actually its better to call it little Paris , budapest is one of the most beautiful city that I have ever meet , the historical structure of the city and the castle still remain. attractive for most of the tourists , living in budapest is easy ? , actually yeah , cause every part of the city there is big grocery shops and malls that you can provide whole the daily things that you need , I should mention that I think budapest have one of the best transport accommodation , such as metro , bus , and also vilamos all over the city . I recommend budapest cause they provide and chance for study in any major and filed in English , that is hard to find this option in other countries , at least you think you are not interested about it ? ok , so if you compare it about the living prices and transport you get shock , according to what I know , Hungary lives in the top of the list of the cheapest countries in Europe , so by the low budget you can live in budapest , I should mention it also that you barely see dirty places in budapest , in the end I would like to add some historical and beautiful places in budapest that you should not miss them , such as budapest parlemant , margirit island , buda castle , sita deal hill , big church in deak square , night cross of Danube and hero square .

What is the student lifestyle like in Budapest?

study in Budapest is somehow expensive for those kind of student who was not succsefull in getting scholarship , but in the other hand monthly shop in Budapest is fair and more cheaper than other cities .
you will not misses your classes cause every minute there is buss and metro all over the city.
you can also find good Resturant from every culture and also those who traditional Hungarian foods.
and also night life in the weekends in budaepest is cool enough to start your week fresh .
by student card you will get discount in cinema , pool , part, and ...
I don't say budapest is the best city cause Hungarian currency ( forint ) force you to go to exchange and change your money and every month the rate is diffrent , the unexpected whether that in the sunny day surprise you by heavy rain and not wide majority but the older generation of Hungarian people speak English hardly .
but I really like budapest cause good point are more than bad one.

How much does it cost to live in Budapest?

for medical student the university fee is about 17000 to 19000 euro per year and for other major its average in 4000 to 6000 Euro per year .
living cost that include flat and utility and Monthly grocery shop are different that I classified them in average and high budget of student .
student with low budget should find flat more or less far from parlemant of budapest , (I mention parlemant cause I think parlemant is the best and most expensive part of the city , as what I think ) you can find studio flat or with one room from 300euro to 500 euro by the utility of 50 euro per month .or you can get dormitory .
the grocery shopping per month in low budget can be about 150 euro to 300 euro.

so as summary if you are student with low budget your monthly living can be between 450 to 850 euro per month .

for those kind of student with higher ability in paying there are nice and also luxury flats by the price of 700 to 1400 euro per month and utility 100 euro.
and grocery shop per month cost for them about 400 to 700 euro per month.
so if you are student with higher budget , you need 1200 euro to 2100 euro per month .
I should mention this that I live by 1000 euro per month with every thing , and its average for me , I was lucky to find flat near parlemat by 500 euro and I pay 500 euro for my grocery shop .
my friend have same situation but he pay for grocery shop 150 dollar per month.
so its completely depends on you.

What places would you recommend visiting in Budapest?

visit Danube river that separate two main part of budapest , Buda and pest , then pareleamt of budapest with great architectural design , buda castle in the top of the hill , cita della , hero square , warm pool bath in szchiney square ,...
and if you are interested in shoping, I recomend you andras utca with full of Italian clothing brands all over the city and opera house in there also.

Is the nightlife good in Budapest? Where is good to go?

so many bars and clubs with fulfill your weekends , so many festival whole the year , such sizget festival and ...
actually cause im medical student I don't have free time enough for party so I can not help a lot about it.
