How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Scholarship I got covers everything my accomodation tuition and monthly 130 euros. In additional I work part-time to cover all my living costs. 130 euro is obviously not enough I usually need around 100 euro more.

What is the student lifestyle like in Budapest?

It is actually pretty good the environment and city itself is beautiful.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Budapest to other students?

I would recommend the city and of course the Universities. Last few years international students are increasing so the course qualities are getting better every year. So far it it is pretty good.

What is the food like?

Food here is cheaper than the other European countries. There are a lot of varieties of dishes in Pest side mostly. You can eat normal proper food 5-10 euros or even cheaper.

How much does it cost to live in Budapest?

Monthly roughly 350-500 euro including accomodation. Of course depends on what type of accomodation. This is price of shared room in an appartment and monthly expense.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language is pretty difficult but in most Universities you can learn Hungarian free.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Budapest from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Budapest?

Night life is of course fun.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Budapest?

Oishi restaurant has good chinese food. Hanami sushi has really good sushi definetely recommend this place. If you want to try Hungarian Gulyas then For-Sale Pub is the best.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Loved the museums and art gallery. Parliament building has this awesome architecture and Hero's square is also must see.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Budapest in the future?

Have fun enjoy Hungarian baths bars and beautiful sights.
