Why did you choose to go to Budapest, Hungary?

Well, Budapest was not on my list, and it was a Google Pop Up Ad which landed me here. Budapest, the city which I love the most. And I am thankful to the Ad for giving me the best days of my life.

What is the student lifestyle like in Budapest?

Well, it's a well-balanced structure. Study while you study and party while you party. When in stress go to Szimpla! That's the Mantra!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Budapest to other students?

Of course! It is so far one of the best cities with opportunities and wonderful memories to uncover.

What is the food like?

Mostly, spicy! But, hey! You will love the "Langos" and "Goulash".

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

To be honest, Hungarian language is a bit difficult to grasp. But if you have a Hungarian friend, then the chances of improving your Hungarian skill is higher. And of course, there are language courses offered by the University. But only through practice, my friend, you'll get a hold of her (Hungarian language, duh! ). Köszönöm!

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Budapest?

Of course, the ruin pubs are the go to place. Other than that, you could try visiting Gozsdu Udvar (Aether, Otkert), Szimpla & Kuplung (ruin pubs again), Ankert, Why not Budapest, A38, Corvin Club! You'll discover it once you are here, in Budapest!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Budapest?

Well, the list is endless, my friend! But I would suggest, Balna, Onyx, Costes, Wasabi, Trófea Grill, maybe!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are a number of sites to explore in Budapest. For instance, Fisherman's Bastion and Citadella will give you a breathtaking view of Budapest. If you want to be terrorized (kidding) just visit the Terror House which exhibits the communist era and is a memorial to those who lost their lives to the war.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Budapest in the future?

Just live in the moment. Time flies by before even you could take hold of her. So, when in Budapest, just cherish the moment and have fun!
