Why did you choose to go to Budapest, Hungary?

It is great city and it is close to my home.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Scholarship is for 5 months but I received only 80% of it before going to Budapest. So in the end I received 1400 euros or 280 euros per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Budapest?

It depends on person. If you want to party, you can do it every day because there are a lot of clubs, and if you want to study, you can do that also because there are a lot of libraryes.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Budapest to other students?

Sure, come here and have fun.

What is the food like?

Great! Tasty and made but you also have a diversity of international restorants.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Budapest?

Yes, it is difficul to find it and it is very expensive.

How much does it cost to live in Budapest?

Rentin room/apartment is very expensive, but all the rest is cheap.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Hungarian is difficult if you want to learn it but you can take courses on several European languages.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Budapest from your city?

By bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Budapest?

Jewish district, all the big and famous bars and night clubs are there.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Budapest?

There are some nice restorants in Oktober street and also several in Jewish district.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

A lot of them: Parliament, Heroes square, Citadela, Fisherman's bastion, Mathia's church, Thermal baths, etc.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Budapest in the future?

Prepare yourself for some crazy months.
