Why did you choose to go to Budapest, Hungary?

I wanted to go to east Europe, and Budapest was the first option that came up.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

ThesScholarship was 350€ per month for four months.

What is the student lifestyle like in Budapest?

Gym, party, study, gym, party, study.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Budapest to other students?

Yes, its a fun place to study, if you like to travel its easy to get around from budapest to other countries, if you just wanna chill Budapest is the best option.

What is the food like?

You can always find what you like!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Budapest?

Nope, I found my accommondation through some friends.

How much does it cost to live in Budapest?

I lived at new apartment on 55sqm, for 450€ per month including all bills, used around 1000€ total per month, but for that amount I had really fun.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language is difficult, but you can always find a way to communicate with people.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Budapest from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Budapest?

On Thursday and Wednesdays to Morrison2, Szimpla if you like to chill out, club Ötkert and hello baby for clubbing.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Budapest?

Too many, specially the greek restaurant near Corvinus university.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

You will find many of them in Budapest.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Budapest in the future?

It can be little difficult to get an apartment, especially if you don't plan to come down couple of days before the start of the semester.
