Because it was cheaper and well located in Europe for further trips.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I receive 1200 Euro for 4 months.
What is the student lifestyle like in Budapest?
Easy, fun and very enjoyable.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Budapest to other students?
I don't have any idea of that University but definitely recommend Budapest.
What is the food like?
There are some popular foods like gulyas and langos bu usually pork and greasy food is common.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Budapest?
Yes because i choosed to make rendez vous while staying in a hostel but you can also figure it out before coming.
How much does it cost to live in Budapest?
Roughly speaking; 600 Euro
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Hungarian is like no other language. Good luck on that!
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Budapest from your city?
Airways from Istanbul, duration 3h30mn.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Budapest?
Szimpla and Fogas are the most favoured places.
There are also some bars for live jamming and having nice evenings as Brody House or Mazel Tov.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Budapest?
Not much idea on that.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Especially Hero Square with the park behind and of course Buda Castle and St. Stephen's
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Budapest in the future?
Plan everything on time and save money before coming because you always want to do more :)
