Why did you choose to go to Budapest, Hungary?

Because I have heard that it is a very nice city, with a good education system.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

6 month, around 300€/ month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Budapest?

Very good, there are a lot of international students. We had nice mentors! Everyone is very friendly and kind.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Budapest to other students?

Of course, I do recommend Budapest!

What is the food like?

Quite weird, but it is delicious. I little bit unhealthy.

How did you find your accommodation?

I have found my roomates and flat close to my university in Roommates Budapest. Finally I decided to rent a flat. I did everything quite quickly, even the landlord was very pleased.

What are the accommodation prices like? What are prices like for other things in general?

You can find high quality accommodation for reasonable price!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Very difficult, I tried to learn.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Budapest from your city?

Plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Budapest?

Margit Island, Hajógyári Island, Pubs, etc.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Budapest?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Museums, Buda Castle, Labirint of Buda, Balaton, etc

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Budapest in the future?
