Budapest, a marvellous city

Budapest is really wonderful.

I was on Erasmus and I decided to travel to Budapest to spend a few days there with a couple of friends. The city is divided into two parts: Buda and Pest. The city is beautiful and each one of its corners surprises you, but in particular, I loved the Buda side. The views of the river are spectacular and there are so many things to see.

What stood out to me was undoubtedly the Fisherman's Bastion, because I thought it was one of the prettiest places I have seen. Being in this idyllic location makes you feel really special. In any case, there are lots of other really pretty places, such as spectacular churches and synagogues, and the parliament, which is also impressive. It is a city with lots of history, beauty and culture.

Another advantage is the prices. In general, it is cheap, you can eat quite a lot for little money and also find accommodation with a small budget.

Budapest is quite safe and there is a good party atmosphere. One of the things that you have to experience in Budapest is going to one of the ruin bars, which are situated in eye-catching buildings and with really extravagant decor.

Without a doubt, this city was even better than I expected.
