5 days trip to Budapest

Some friends and I decided to arrange a trip to some place in Europe to celebrate the end of our exam period. We arranged everything between december and january for our trip at the beginning of february. Budapest was a good choice for us, since it's a quite cheap destination for students like us.

First of all, I strongly advice you to change some currency to Hungarian forints at home, since most places won't accept other currencies, specially at the airport where you would have to buy the tickets to get to the city and, believe me, changing currency at the airport is very expensive.

The bus from Sevilla to Málaga was 7.5€ per person and 2.5 hours long. The plane Málaga-Budapest was 75€ round trip and took 4.5 hours - we arrived around midnight. To get to the apartment, we took a bus and the underground which was not more than 3€ both I believe and you can buy your tickets at the airport. We had rented an apartment right next to the Hungarian State Opera House - area of Pest - for six people, 5 nights and only cost us 40€ per person.

As you will probably have to change your currency to Hungarian Forints a couple of times during your trip, keep an eye on the cash points around the city centre to find the best price.

It took us a short walk to get to the Chain Bridge where we took many pictures before crossing the river Danube.

Work in process...
