Bar hopping or pub crawling is a lifestyle here in Europe or anywhere else in the world for that matter. I mean who doesn't like the night life? Being able to go from bar to bar having cold tasty drinks, laughing your ass off while being drunk under the city lights and creating some new memories for you and your mates. It sounds like the dream, doesn't it? And even if you aren't that big of a bar fan, no one dislikes the occasional beer at a famous pub and releasing some of their daily stress. This is why I decided to create this on going list, to write about every single one of my favorite bars and the reasons you should go try them out. I'm not much a bar fan, if you have been following my blog for a while you would know that, I'm more of a cafe fan. I have been to way too many cafes, I honestly think cafes should start sponsoring me and pay for me to write about them, but oh well till that happens I'm gonna go to more cafes and bars and tell you guys about them.

Okay before going any further I'm really sorry for constantly disappearing but I promise you guys it's all for a good reason. I have been partying like crazy, pretty much going out every night and staying in bed all day. It's all good though, I am going to take a break from all that and just focus on writing for this weekend I promise.

Ever since i moved to Budapest I decided to go to more bars and become a bar fan too, so without further delay I'm going to introduce some of my favorite bars and basically the bars where a lot of erasmus students go to and you can let me know what you think of them if you ever go! which you should by the way.

1) Morrison's 2

Well I talked about the organization Erasmus Life Budapest in my previous post, which you can check out here by the way. Well they have two types of events every week! one is is monday's at Morrison's 2, basically that's an event where beer is cheap as hell, at only 99 forints! That's less than 30 cents of a Euro so you can have as much beer as you want. There is a free entrance all night to the club, but on other nights you need to pay like a really small fee to get in. This is as cheap as going out gets in Budapest, like seriously guys it does not get cheaper than this and so grab the opportunity while you can. It's also the perfect time meet other Erasmus and Internationals as literally every Erasmus student will go here at least once. And well if you couldn't go to the Monday event cause, man, who likes to party on the first day of the week? (not me); they have another event in the same club called "Thirsty Thursdays", it's practically the Biggest gathering of Erasmus students in one Budapest club so I don't suggest missing out on it.

2) Salvatore bar

Salvatore bar is that one bar in Budapest that I can see everything going on inside of it from my bedroom window; well I'm sure you don't give a damn about that so let's see why I think Salvatore is a good bar. Well first of all they have the best cocktails and honestly I do love some of them because I feel like I'm at the beach sipping on some cocktails but also because they are tasty and you don't even feel the alcohol. I'm serious, they have really really good cocktails, it's a must try for everyone, at least once. If you are anything like me, a true cocktail admirer, you won't regret going here. Although what I don't like about this bar is that they close really early and well that sucks. Like usually by 2 a. m, they start to close and so we usually go here early and then start hitting the clubs and dance floors.

3) Stifler bar

One of the most famous bars in all of Budapest, it's a place you go to chill and have some drinks with your friends, it's not a partying type of bars. They've got killer burgers and a pool table, so it's amazing for unwinding for a couple of hours and maybe beat your mates with your amazing pool skills. As for me, I don't have any pool skills so I'm gonna settle for that killer burger. The burgers are pretty good and not too expensive. Stifler is right next to my house and so it's a definite hang out spot for my friends and I. It usually gets overcrowded during the weekend and so it might not be as chill as you want it to be; I'm really looking forward to the summer and getting to spend as time as possible in this bar watching the wolrd cup! Go Iran! Anyways if you were ever looking for a place to relax a bit and maybe even socialize Stifler is the place to go.

4) The 4es 6os

Negyes, hatos that means 4th and 6th, these bars are actually located in every location of 4 and 6 trams. They are a pretty famous franchise in all of Budapest and their bars are pretty good; I usually go to the one at wesselenyi because it's the closest to me but they are all equally good. Cheap booze, light music and a load of fun; they are also the type of bar that don't close so early into the night, we actually went there on a wednesday night and stayed there till 4 am; it was lit.
