Hey guys so this is going to be a super short entry, I just want to talk about this Hungarian food that we have here and it's kind of famous so let's see what's it all about. So last night when we were coming back from our New Year's celebration, we stumbled across this "Langos" shop. Being the foodie that I am and given it was cold outside, we decided to give it a try. I kept seeing pictures of people going out for Langos and having Langos, so I was excited to see what all the hype was about.

The Langos shop we went to was located in "Kiraly Utca" , towards the end of the street and literally next to that opening which you go inside and you see a lot of Karaoke shops and 4bro club. It's really easy to find, if you go Kiraly utca and keep walking in the direction of Deak Ferenc Ter

The shop is small but well lit, you walk in and the smell of freshly fried dough is wafting through the air, it's basically the smell of oil but let me get carried away. The have their menu written on the wall in both English and Hungarian and given this is such a touristic spot, they have included their prices in both Euro and Forint.

I'm going to post their menu here and you guys can take a look for yourselves. Well basically Langos is a piece of fried dough/bread and then they spread different toppings on top of it and serve it hot. I ordered a cream cheese and cheese one, my friends ordered one with bacon and my brother got the garlic and cheese one; which smelled like hell lot of garlic by the way.

I wouldn't say it's a must try in Budapest but honestly it's a tasty snack and a nice change from the usual snacks we all have so why not give it a try? and Oh by the way there are loads of Langos shops all across Budapest so you can search up to see if there is one near your accomodation and go and try some!

Till next time where we explore more of the Hungarian goodies

Cheers
