Recently I guess I have joined the cafe hoppers bandwagon and man I do not regret it for one second even, I love constantly going to different cafes , having great conversations while sipping on a cup of tea or coffee, I mean what's more peaceful than that? And one of my closest friends is a huge cafe hopper (I'm not sure if that's a word) but yea she goes to different cafes all the time, sometimes maybe two in one day and that's because she can only study in cafes. which is good for me because well she goes to all this awesome places, chooses the best ones and let's me know so we can go together.

As for today we are gonna talk about this amazing little cafe near Astoria, it actually has a lot of accents on the name since the name is hungarian but I can't put them on using my keyboard. It's actually Magvető Café ; anyways the ecxact address is : Budapest, Dohány u. 13, 1074 , and the cool thing is that it's open until late at nights about 11 pm which is much longer than the opening hours of other cafes. And oh it's actually closed on mondays instead of sundays, now that's odd but it's better to be aware of it before heading down there.

The coffee shop has odd seating positions, it's not too big so sometimes it can get overcrowded. The place has a chic decor, and the top space is basically like a book shelf and people can sit on the steps of it and read and sip their warm coffees. it's super cute, it even has some cushions it's best place to read/gossip. Am I right? I'll upload the pictures of it below so you can judge for yourselves.

(That's what I mean by the sitting position)

The menu wasn't diverse, infact there wasn't a menu the items were written on a wall at the cashier counter. I dropped by there and ordered my usual chai latte, I mean if I am to drink tea I might as well drink it with some tea in it right? My friend also ordered some tea and we got some cookies as well, the cookie wasn't so good but the chai latte was amazing actually. I really liked it and it didn't cost a lot at all , the chai latte cost about 500 forints and the cookie was about 300 forints. The place is great for unwinding or in our case studying, it can be slightly loud sometimes but it's not too much to bother you and don't sit near the door cause it will keep opening and you will freeze. also it's a smoke free cafe so you should smoke outside.

They actually have a lot of book reading events there, mostly in hungarian though and most of the books were in Hungarian too which was a bummer for me.

Anyways I hope you guys enjoy these short reviews that I write and let me know what you think of them or if they are useful at all

Cheers
