Okay well this is another extremely small piece to introduce another cute little place before I start to shift my focus to Iran for sometime, I really miss writing about Iran and given there are still a billion places to discover back there, I think I need to spend some time and do it justice. Anyways this place is perfect for an early morning craving or an afternoon snack after a really hard day. Being known as one of the most famous bagel places in all of Budapest, I think we can certainly have high expecatations of the place.

I was introduced to this place by one of my friends despite it being a 2 minute walk from our university's library. It's called "Budapest bagel" and it;s exact address is: Budapest, 1085, Baross u. 4, 1085 , it's super accessible via the public transport, just take metro line M4 and get off at Kalvin ter, once you exit the metro, it's like a one minute walk from the place. Their menu is diverse, they have about I don't know 10 different bagels or so; some vegetarian even, there is one with bacon and avocado which is their most popular one but since I don't really eat bacon, I chose one with ham, serrano ham if I'm not mistaken.

The prices varied from 500 forints to like 1000 forints for the bagel and you could have tea/coffee or juice as a drink. Just keep in mind that there is no place to sit, which is probably the only annoying thing about the place.

I would rate the bagel 8/10, again keep in mind that my ratings are extremely important and very legit. I thought my sandwich was too salty, I still enjoyed it though but it had too much salt nonetheless. Well my friend however loved her avocado, cream cheese and bacon filled bagel and so I guess you guys could go with that one; I actually wanted to try Caprese but they were running out of it so I settled for Serrano ham.

Anyways if you do end up going there, let me know how it goes and what you try. It's perfect for a lazy morning, but keep in mind that they are closed on sundays

Cheers.
