What is it like to live in Brest? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Living in Brest is special. Once you arrive, it rain all of the time. But the people are kind and there are a lot of activities.
What is the student lifestyle like in Brest?
It's great. You can hang on at every moment! Moreover there are a lot of good pub there.
How much does it cost to live in Brest?
I lived in a town next to Brest (Plougastel) so I cannot respond but I think that in side of the Capucins it doesn't cost a lot.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Brest? Is there any advice you can give?
Like I said before, I don't know. But the University give easily places in there residence.
What places would you recommend visiting in Brest?
I recommend the Liberty Place and the Castle of Brest. You can also visit Les Capucins, it's very beautiful (and there are the oldest street in Brest, la rue Saint-Malo)
Is it good to eat out in Brest? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
There are a lot of choices. For fast food I really like O'Tacos. But for a restaurant I recommend Osaka (a Japanese restaurant, the best in Brest! ).
Is the nightlife good in Brest? Where is good to go?
When you hang out at night in Brest, it's recommend to be minimum 2. Some streets are dangerous. But when you are 2 (or more) you can enjoy the Liberty Places and the Port.
What advice would you give future students heading to Brest?
In Brest, the transport is the best I have ever seen so it's simple to travel in the city so you can find an accommodation a little far away of your job/school.
