Experience in Brescia, Italy by Manuel
What is it like to live in Brescia? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Brescia is a medium-sized city in the north of Italy. Near the city you can find beautiful lakes and mountains, during spring and summer, for chilling out or enjoying daily trips. In the center you can find some monuments (none of them are really famous) and a lot of cafés, bars and places to have a break. I would recommend Brescia if you're looking for a complete Italian experience without too many distractions or troubles.
What is the student lifestyle like in Brescia?
There are 2 famous disco clubs (DLQ and Circus) and several minor clubs in which the mostly played music is commercial house music. Prices are high for european standards (6 - 14 €) but they're very popular and full of people to meet. Brescia is full of bars that serve cocktails for almost the entire night for 4 - 5 €. There aren't big parties like raves or events openair but you can find rock concerts, especially in summer, close to Brescia.
How much does it cost to live in Brescia?
I can't give a precise answer because I don't live in apartment but approximately 800-900€ per month if you like to party and go out. Simple living costs may be around 600-700€.
