How did you find living in Bordeaux? Would you recommend it? How is it?

Bordeaux isn't a very big city but you can have anything you need there. The prices (bearing in mind that it is France) aren't very high, nothing is really far away and you don't have to use the transport too much. It's a city with a lot of charm.

How is student life in Bordeaux?

Bordeaux is a city with a enough of a student atmosphere. There are sufficient universities and despite being a bit mediocre, the university city is quite good to live in, in regards to the atmosphere. The residences aren't very well kept and the crous residences are quite old.

How much does it cost to live in Bordeaux?

If you are a student and live in a student residence, it isn't very expensive. It is perhaps around 200 euros a month (I don't know about the more expensive ones) but you can opt for CAF, the housing aid. If you rent a flat, truthfully, you can find inexpensive shared flats if you search enough, but it is over 200 euros for sure.

Was it hard to find accommodation in Bordeaux? Can you give any advice?

Finding accomodation isn't always hard work if someone is there to help you.

Which places would you recommend to visit in Bordeaux?

La Bourse, Victoire... The centre in general.

Which places would you recommend to go out and party?

In regards to the clubs, i would recommend la Plage and Fabrik and regarding the pubs, Bodegon isn't bad.

Any advice that you would like to give to future students at Bordeaux?

You have to go out even though it rains every day - Put on your wellies and raincoat and get outside!
