Why did you choose to go to Bordeaux, France?

Because French is the language that I knew the best.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My Erasmus was of 3 months. The money that I have received was 310€.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bordeaux?

I don't know, I have known few students in Bordeaux and my Erasmus was only for an internship.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bordeaux to other students?

Yes, I would.

What is the food like?

At the supermarket, you can find whatever you want. Have lunch or dinner costs 20-30€.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bordeaux?

I stayed in a student foyer, that is proposed to me by the receiving school.

How much does it cost to live in Bordeaux?

The rent is very variable.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Of course, the language is easy to get to grips with.

I know that the Bordeaux University organized French courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bordeaux from your city?

Airplane

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bordeaux?

There are a lot of places that I can recommend: place de la Victoire, place St. Pierre, etc

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Bordeaux?

I forgot the name of the restaurant...it's in Cours de l'Argonne, few meters than the tram stop "St Nicholas"

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Place de la Bourse, the Bordeaux Cathedral, the Pont de Pierre, St Michel church, le marché des Capucins, rue St Catherine... And many others cultural sites.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Bordeaux in the future?

No... enjoy it!
