How is student life in Bordeaux?
For the Erasmus, we're looked at a bit like we're aliens from another planet. :(
Would you recommend the city and the university of Bordeaux to other students?
Yes.
How is the city's food?
Very good but expensive.
Did you have any difficulty in finding accommodation in Bordeaux?
Yes, it was very very difficult.
How are living costs in Bordeaux?
Around €500 to €650 a month.
How is learning the language? Did you go to any language courses organised by the university?
I didn't do a course but the learning was fine even so.
What is the most economical way of getting to Bordeaux from your city?
By train.
Which places do you recommend to party in Bordeaux?
The little bars on Rue Sainte Catherine.
And to eat in Bordeaux? What are your favourite places?
L'aero, near the Place de Théâtre.
And what culture visits do you recommend?
The landscapes, vineyards and museums.
Any advice to give to future students in Bordeaux?
Look for a shared flat. It's better for learning the language.
