Why did you choose to go to Bordeaux, France?

The university holds reputation. Instructors are very highly qualified.The place is fantastic. People are very helpful. Though i had language barrier but everyone helped.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

2000 euros which is a great amount in terms of scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bordeaux?

Its very nice to stay in bordeaux as a student. Once gets cheaper transport and other amenities being a student.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bordeaux to other students?

certainly

What is the food like?

The food was really great.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bordeaux?

I easily got accommodation through airbnb.

How much does it cost to live in Bordeaux?

400 euros for a month which is cheaper as compared to other options.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes language was no way a barrier even if you do not know french.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bordeaux from your city?

By Air to Paris. From Paris one needs a euro rail ticket which is easily available for 1 4 hours rail journey from CDG Paris to bordeaux.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bordeaux?

the place is very safe. you can go anywhere. lot many decent places around.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Bordeaux?

Taj Mahal Restaurant, KFC Saint Catherine, Mc Donalds near IIE, Punjab Restaurant, Moyi rolls

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

lot of churches, cathedrals . Bordeaux has plenty of them

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Bordeaux in the future?

It's a dream lived kind of a place. If you get a chance dont let it slip off your hands. ANd yes when in Bordeaux , a wine experience is a must.
