How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
It lasts 4 months. Information about payment have been poor so can't answer that.
What is the student lifestyle like in Bordeaux?
A lot of parties and after work events.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Bordeaux to other students?
I would recommend the city! University of Bordeaux I don't know about since I went to KEDGE. But I would not recommend KEDGE.
What is the food like?
You'll find most of all typical French food and it tastes good everywhere.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bordeaux?
Rents are about 500€ a month.
How much does it cost to live in Bordeaux?
Around 1000€ a month at minimum.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Everybody (almost) know English. KEDGE offers French language courses.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bordeaux from your city?
By plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bordeaux?
City centre have a lot of good pubs and nightclubs.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Wine yards and museums. Many things with a connection to wine or food.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Bordeaux in the future?
Be prepared for french administration because it's very slow.
