    Sweden is a country with the higest taxes in the World when you buy alcohol. My advice is bring your own alcohol. Obviously, not too much but maybe a bottle of your favourite spirit is quite ok.

    A mentor is a person from the country you go who will help you in your new life. He or She can advice you about the university, the city... Some universities include a mentor but some others not!

    I don´t mean a dear diary: but a kind of notebook where you can write sometimes your trips, memories, feelings etc. I´m sure when you finish your erasmus and want to remember it is enough with open it and enjoy!

    Yes, you can see all the information on internet but i guess everybody prefer travel with a paper guide... more confortable and useful!

  • REuse your plastic bags - Food

    In Sweden plastic bags when you go to the supermarket cost 2 SEK, so i recommend you to reuse as much as you can. Keep at home and save money and environment!

    I am sure if you are erasmus you will need to call your home, to listen music in your free time, to translate your papers... and i can advice you some web pages, programs, applications... Spotify, google translator, skype... maybe you can add something......

    In erasmus, i am sure you will be travel a lot and it is neccesary, overall if you travel with a company as Ryanair to bring your products adapted, I mean everything with less than 100ml: shampoo, bath gel...

    If you are erasmus i am quite sure you will need to get a job, specially if you are in a nordic country as i am... i have some advice in order to get a job: teacher, physical jobs, cookers... it is difficult, more if you can not speak the language in the country, but......
