What is it like to live in Bialystok? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

City is peaceful which is it biggest advantage. There are a lot of parks in city. All around Bialystok are forest full of animals and mushrooms. In city is quite boring, nothing happens and there is not much people.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bialystok?

Student has discounts in some places and can easily travel around the city using local bus.

How much does it cost to live in Bialystok?

Białystok is one of the cheapest cities to live in Poland.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bialystok? Is there any advice you can give?

I personally didn't need to search accommodation because I am from here but my friends did it with no problem. The best way to get a flat is to search in a Facebook groups or on "olx".

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

We have plenty of good and cheap restaurants here. It's always easy to find a good and cheap fast food but if you want to eat some local dishes the best way is to visit "Topolanka".

What places would you recommend visiting in Bialystok?

I personally think that the best way to explore Bialystok is to walk around the city center and visit places looks interesting. We have a lot of good restaurants and pubs but you can always check it out on Google maps.

Is it good to eat out in Bialystok? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Most locals around Lipowa Street are good but from cheepest local food I always recommend Topolanka.

Is the nightlife good in Bialystok? Where is good to go?

In most of the week this city doesn't have any nightlife. In Thursday in some pubs and clubs students have discounts but the best time to party is always Friday or Saturday because only in this days we have night buses.

What advice would you give future students heading to Bialystok?

It's peaceful city so don't expect to much about parties but if you just want to chill out while studying it's good place for you.
