Why did you choose to go to Bialystok, Poland?

Actually, my situation was a little different. I had to choose Bialystok.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship is for two semester. I am receiving 300 euro per month. It is totally enough.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bialystok?

You can have fun on Fridays and Saturdays. Additionally there are many Erasmus parties.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bialystok to other students?

I am student in Bialystok University of Technology. This place has good laboratories and activities. If you are sociable, there are many opportunities.

What is the food like?

Potatoes is the main food here. İt is using too much in food, they have nice prices in cafes and restaurants.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bialystok?

Finding accommodation is easy There are accomodations for every student in Bialystok if they want to stay in dormitory.

How much does it cost to live in Bialystok?

With accommodation and all other stuff max. 750 zloty per month (without travelling).

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language is nice and easy to get used to. Yes, there are some courses in university.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bialystok from your city?

You should go to Kaunas. It costs around 7 euro with Blablacar.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bialystok?

Rockoko and Prognozy are best places in my opinion.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Bialystok?

In the square there are nice restaurants. Tortilla in Greek restaurant is good.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Bialystok in the future?

Keep calm and stop complaining. Just enjoy this cute city!
