I recommend u to go to Warschauer station as there are many beach bars where to have some drinks but also Biergartens are great. By the way, if the weather is still good (in August it was), in fron of Nordbanhof station there's a volleyball place where for 12€ per place (not per person ofc xd) you can play for 1h and have some drinks. Hope u enjoy Berlin and see u in February!

hi guys, if you are living already in berlin how r u doing with the public transport? i'm getting there on a saturday, do you advise to get some kind of weekend ticket or something? thanx a lot!! i hope you are having a good time there :)

The best is to buy a ticket for the whole month (57 € I think). If not, every single travel is 2,30.
Then, when the classes start, you can go to a BVG office with a letter from your uni to get the semester ticket, which is really cheap.

What I`ve done is to buy the monthly ticket (53) but with an internship contract!if not, the regular fare is 75!If you can do it throw university much better...!

Hi all!
I'm going to study at the Freie Universität from October 2011 until March 2012. I just arrived in Berlin and I would like to meet some new people ;) I have a room in Schöneberg, and right now I have to find a bike, a good language course (does anyone know a good and not too expensive one?) and things to do in the evening!
