Mount Fløyen

On a sunny day, this is the place to go. In Bergen it rains a lot throughout the year, over 240 days! That is a lot, and Bergen is famous for it. Mount Fløyen is one of the beautiful mountains that the city is surrounded by. You can take a hike to the mountain, via a waterfall, loose stones, muddy paths and challenging routes, or you can take the Fløibanen cable car to enjoy some coffee, lunch or just the view up the mountain. There is a playground for the little ones and the most beautiful view over the city. On top, a huge troll is placed as well; great for taking pictures with! The route we took up, was via Bryggen, via another village and then into the woods. We lost track at one point due to the rain. Nevertheless, after taking the adventurous road we found the original path, filled with stones and next to the huge waterfall. Amazing! Exciting! In our case, the view got ruined by the rain, but on a sunny day this is a must do! Take your chance: visit mount Fløyen.
