Fish market

A must go to and must eat when you are visiting Bergen. The traditional fish market at the market square in town. It is one of the most visited outdoor markets in Norway. You can get all kinds of fruit, vegetables and fish on this market. A few hours can be spent wandering and trying samples. It is truly great. I, for example, tried whale sausage, reindeer meat, moose sausage and a fresh piece of salmon at the market. An experience on itself. The people are really friendly and will explain everything about their products to you.
