Hello!! :D I'm Clara, an outgoing and nice Spanish girl who will be in Belo Horizonte studying at UFMG from next August to January! I'm studying law and political science, but at UFMG i'll be enroled mostly in Administraçao subjects
At the moment I speak no portuguese (I do Spanish, catalan, English, Italian and a bit of French) but i'm crazy about learning it soon and getting to know the amazing Brazilian people and routines!!
I'm looking for a flat or flatmates, in Pampulha or center area (I prefer anyway a safe and students place near UFMG), to stay with my semester of exchange and who can make even cooler this experience. I'd love to live with other brazilian students, but would be cool also to share appartment with other international students (don't mind if they are Spanish aswell :)
Love to travel, sing, go out and speak with interesting people. I'd like to make thos exchange a great experience but also study and learn about Brasilian ways. I did my year of Erasmus in Padova (Italy) last year and it was just amazing, so i can't wait to open myself again to other people and realities that can enrich!
At home, I love to cook, organise things to do together, I'm clean and cheerful. Let me know if you could be interested!! See you in BH :*

Hello Thomas,
You will find many University students and professors who can speak English fluently. You will be able to visit one of the largest mining companies in the world, VALE and you should not miss the mineralogy museum in the Liberty Square Complex. Besides, you should not miss a visit to Ouro Preto a historical town which used to be the capital of the state in colonial times. That was where most of the gold came from in colonial times. Currently, Anglogold Ashanti has mining operations in Nova Lima, also nearby, and they are still mining gold. We are in the Iron Ore region and apart from this mineral there are many others being mined such as bauxite, manganese, etc.

You will find accomodation available for students, either in hostels or apartments near the university to share. The best of luck.
Cheers, Helena
