What is it like to live in Belgrade? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Belgrade is listed by many european web sites as one of the most popular turist destination, especially for young people. City lives 24hours, with numerous clubs, restaurants with amazing international and local food. Belgrade is famous by hospitality and well known clubs on the river / Belgrade is located on two rivers, and all banks are full of clubs. Apart from that Belgrade have great history, lot of museums and landmarks.

What is the student lifestyle like in Belgrade?

Great! Well categorized universities, cheap accommodation, cheap cost of living and great great entertainment.

How much does it cost to live in Belgrade?

Student living min with rent flat and living cost from 600eur till 1000eur for a great life.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Belgrade? Is there any advice you can give?

No, it is not. There is a lot of acomodation, Central area is bit more expensive in older part of the city and flats with one bedroom can be found for 300 to 500eur. In the New Belgrade which is 10min with bus from the centar you can fin a flat for 200 to 300eur.We have lot of flats rent 'by day', but many landlords are willing to make long term contract with discounted price.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Serbia is generally famous for food...lot of local specialties but also in Belgrade you can eat any international food from italian, chinese, japanese, argentinian, lebanese...vegetarian, or any other you wish.

What places would you recommend visiting in Belgrade?

First central area, Kalemegdan fortress which looking on rivers and nit be missed - clubs on the river.

Is it good to eat out in Belgrade? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Great..there is a milion ones...for fancy experience just go to the river Beton hala district..and choose one of many great restaurants

Is the nightlife good in Belgrade? Where is good to go?

I mention...lot of clubs in gthe city and famous ones on the river bank.

What advice would you give future students heading to Belgrade?

Just open your senses - you will find great people, ready to help you on every step from renting a flat to going out in the nightlife.
