Walking on Rustaveli street

After eating and stuff, me and my sister decided to go and walk towards the boulevard, but not the usual way. We went to Rustaveli and went to the right towards that Pier Batumi that we saw the day before. Until we ate, I really wanted to eat that ice-cream again that we ate the day before on Pier Batumi, however, when I ate that whole portion of Ostri, I didn’t really feel hungry and the ice-cream would be just extra calories and I didn’t really feel like eating it that much. so that, we just walked around the boulevard and then we saw those peacocks and swans there and people were looking at them and feeding them and stuff like that. I remember, when we were children we were here or somewhere around that place and there were those peacocks, too and there was this small bridge on water and we loved going on it and we have videos taken there, too. My sister remembered that, too, and she was asking me whether that place was the one that was on video or not, but I couldn’t remember, well, I couldn’t exactly say that it was that place or that it was not, so that we decided to watch that video some time later at home and find out about that.

Mini zoo

We looked at that peacock and it was really beautiful. It was roaming around and it was near us for a couple of minutes and I was taking some pictures of it, however, then it walked the other way and went to some guys over there and stayed there. Probably they gave it some food or something, otherwise why would it stay there and won’t come back to the other side where me and my sister were standing?! So, then we saw those swans nearby and we moved to that part of the “mini zoo” or whatever you want to call it. There were two swansthat I saw. They were all white and stuff and were really beautiful, if you ask me. In general, I don’t really love zoos and looking at those animals and stuff like that. I’ve already mentioned my attitude towards cats and that pretty much includes every animal, I guess. I just don’t love animals, if you want to know the truth. However, I really appreciate art and beautifulness and stuff like that and these swans were really beautiful, so that I took some pictures of them, of course. We watched them for some time and talked and, well, then we continued our walk in the Boulevard.

A man like a boss

There was this man that I noticed somewhere in the Boulevard and he was just really hilarious. I noticed that something was not as usual and when I turned to see, I saw this man relaxing like a boss on two benches and it was pretty funny and I just couldn’t resist not taking a picture of him. He was sitting on one bench and he had the second one brought in front of him, too and he was resting his legs on that second bench, so he was sitting “like a boss” with those pajama panties on and just a tank top on and I couldn’t help but noticing this. And I was like taking pictures of my sister, while in fact I was taking pictures of him, well, in fact, I just took one picture. Then there was this thing, I mean, my sister’s phone is just a mess, and I didn’t get, why, because it’s a pretty good cell phone and it shouldn’t do things like that, however, then I understood why it was this way. Walking there I heard some thing and when I looked back I just saw that she had dropped her phone on that asphalt with her wallet and the both of them were down there together and my sister was just looking at them from above with a poker face, but like she was saying, “eh, what can I do?!” so I just looked at them, too, and she was like she wanted me to take her phone and the wallet, however, it was not me that dropped them, so that I wouldn’t pick them and give them to her, obviously. Well, if she had asked in some ways, I could have done that, but that way I  wouldn’t do it, so she just looked at me like that for a little while longer and when she realized that I wasn’t going to do that, she just picked them herself.

Championship in wrestling

Well then, we just continued walking and went into the beach side of the Batumi Boulevard somewhere nearby and we just kept going there. There were some voices that we heard and it was like a concert or something and we went that way to see what was going on. When we got there, we saw that this European Championship in wrestling that day, too, and I guess, then it was the final round of the championship or something. They were just starting the competitions and there was this small warm-up that the people do until starting some competitions or things like that. They were talking about that hat that one of them had and then they competed with each other about which one fitted the hat the most and the people clapped and shouted for each of them and, well, it was decided that the hat was better on the guy than the girl. And then, it was time for competitions, I guess, however me and my sister continued walking in the boulevard and we went to that place where people play some games, I mean, there are many tables nearby that mini zoo and Pier Batumi and there you can pay for some time and play whatever you want. Well, there are two  games to play, if you want to know the truth, and they are pool games and table tennis. My sister wanted to play, but then she changed her mind. And, besides, she said that she didn’t know how to play the pool and that she hadn’t ever played pool, so that I wanted her to play it there, but she didn’t really want that, so that we walked away and went to the beach. As it was pretty hot and the sun was shining too much, we decided to go home and rest a little, until it was late afternoon or something and then we would go out to the sea and swim and get suntanned and stuff. So that we went home, where we rested a little and since my brother was asleep there, we kind of slept, too. I usually don’t sleep in the afternoons or things like that, however I slept then and although I wanted to go to the sea and swim, I couldn’t really wake up, though my brother was kind of waking us up. Well, he went to swim and we continued sleeping. And the thing was, it was a pretty good day for swimming. It was a great dilemma for me whether to get up and change and go to the sea or stay there and continue sleeping, however, I couldn’t get up right then as I was asleep and so that I stayed there.

The evening

Some time later when I woke up it was like 6 p.m. or something, I guess, and it was still time to swim and enjoy the water, however it was kind of cloudy and I just decided to go and take a walk. My sister and brother were on the beach or in the boulevard or something and they called me and asked me where I was and they were coming home while I was going out, so that we met in the middle or the way and I gave the keys to them and told them that I would be somewhere around and then they would call me and we would meet somewhere. So that I went to the beach. Then I decided to go to the left and walk to McDonald’s or something. I knew, that there was this large supermarket Goodwill and I thought that I would buy something to eat. Actually, I didn’t really need much to eat or maybe I didn’t really need anything to eat, however, my sister didn’t seem to call me to tell me that she was going out and she would meet me somewhere nearby and I knew that it would take some time for her to come out of that house, so I started walking towards McDonald’s, though I didn’t really know the road, but I had this Google Maps turned on and somehow I would get there I hoped. Well, I walked and walked and I didn’t think that it would be that far away, but, I guess, it just seemed far, because when you don’t know the surroundings you are walking and if that’s the first time you walk there and you don’t really know  the road and you are all alone there, it just seems to be a long road, while in fact, it’s not, because it took me 25 minutes or something like that to get to McDonald’s, I guess, and if the road was familiar, I would get there sooner, if you ask me. There I saw this huge sign reading “Goodwill” and I was really glad that I didn’t come all the way there for nothing and I went in. you know, I just like to look around the supermarkets and look at the prices and compare them to the other places and stuff like that and I just looked around there and I looked at almost everything, I guess. That was a pretty large supermarket, if you want to know the truth, so that they had all those things that they have in hypermarkets, I guess. Well, they didn’t have clothes, if I remember correctly. And I had this 50 Laris that I wanted to exchange, I mean, they wouldn’t break it into smaller ones in just regular markets, so that I had this chance there in Goodwill, so I was looking for something that I could buy there and eat right away or something like that, because I didn’t really have a bag or something and I didn’t want to carry something with me all the way back to home or wherever I was going to go. There were some options that I had there, however, I decided to buy those biscotino or something like that, that I tasted once in Tbilisi and I liked it very much and it only cost 50 Tetris or so, so that I would eat it then and I would enjoy it and that 50 Laris would be changed, too. Well, the cashier didn’t like to give me change for 50 Laris, but what could she do? I didn’t have any other money with me anyways. And just when I was buying that thing, my friend called me and well, I was busy so that I didn’t answer him. Then my sister called and I answered and I heard his name in the background saying that he knew that I wouldn’t answer his call. Anyways, they were calling me to ask whether I wanted to go somewhere to eat or not. To be honest, I didn’t really want to eat anything, as it was already 9 or 10 p.m. and who eats at that time? However, they told me that they wanted to eat some pizza or Acharuli Khachapuri and I thought that they knew a good place where we could eat one of them and so that I told them that I would go wherever they would decide to eat, so they told me that they would call me and tell me where they would be and I just went out of the supermarket and started walking my way back where I came from. Little did I know that I would have to get back there again. Well, not exactly in Goodwill, but somewhere nearby.
