The most beautiful Monastry in Portugal
If you are in Portugal, visiting or living, you probably been to (or at least heard of) Jeronimo's Monastry in Lisbon. It's indeed a very beautiful place, but in my opinion, not the best in the country.
The most outstanding one is in a really small town called Batalha. Its construction started in the 14th century and it hasn't been finished.
There are still some chapels with no ceiling (called Imperfect Chapels), but that makes it even more beautiful in my opinion.
It's a monastry with lots of colorful stained glass and big columns that leaves you gasping.
The city
Batalha is also a really cute town, where you can find Portuguese bakeries and sweets to enjoy your afternoon.
