As a canadian, I am blessed with good people, good places, good food and good fortune. Being from Ontario, I experience the perfect mix of City and country. I grew up in a diverse melting pot of culture that I call Canada. Ontario is especially rich in people and their backgrounds. I have always been able to go to school, bike to the beach, enjoy trails and parks and have great friends. Strangers welcome you with a smile into restaurants serving food from across the world and strangers move to Barrie to raise a family in a strong economy. My father has been fortunate with his business in the great town of Barrie as have many other small business'.

Being close to toronto, the central hub of Canada, we have access to everything without the clutter of cars or building. Being close to the north, we have acess to a multitude of forests, lakes and scenery.

I have honestly never found a town that I didn't like and I don't think I will because I love my country and the people it houses. Still, I can't find myself loving anywhere more than my home town of Barrie, ON.
