What advice would you give future students heading to Bangkok?

It's generally safe in Bangkok but you should always be careful of your stuff while going out at night. Traffic jam is really bad in the morning and the worst in friday evening.

Transport such bus is quite poor quality. its more convenient using BTS (skytrain) or MRT (underground). Using Grap taxi or Uber is also suggested.

Be aware that some services such as taxi, tuk-tuk, will charge you higher since they see yu as foreingers. Ask for price before you use one.
